Match-day info – Preliminary Final

Newcastle Thunder face a re-match with Doncaster RLFC at Kingston Park Stadium this Sunday, in a high noon showdown in the Betfred League 1 Preliminary Final.

After falling to defeat in Doncaster’s visit in the qualifying in round one, Thunder hit back with a solid 38-18 win over Workington Town in last weekend’s semi-finals.

With the Dons falling to a 22-12 loss to Oldham last weekend, the two sides meet again for the right to face Oldham in next week’s promotion playoff final.

Ticket sales – Ticket are on sale priced at £13 for adults, £11 for concessions and £8 for Under 16s. All tickets include entry to the Newcastle Falcons v Doncaster Knights, with Thunder fans wishing to stay for that fixture able to watch from the North Stand terrace.

Gates opening & entry – Turnstiles to gain entry to Kingston Park Stadium will be open from 10:30. Entry to the stadium will be via East Stand turnstiles.

Supporter Accommodation – Spectators will watch the match from the East side of the ground. All tickets, except for those purchased by 2019 season ticket holders are general admission.

These tickets provide access to unreserved seating sections and the East Stand terracing.

Parking – The Kingston Park car park will be open for this fixture, with spaces available for over 400 vehicles on a first-come, first-served basis.

Club Shop – Located on the ground floor of the East Stand, the club shop will be open from 10:00, with final reductions on all remaining items in the Thunder 2019 ISC range.

Bars & Food – The East Stand Tap & Tackle bar will be open from 10:30 serving a wide range of food and drinks. Thunder matchday prices will be valid until 13:30, after which time, regular Newcastle Falcons pricing will apply

Post Match – The East Stand will be the focus of events after the match, with the venue open until 10 pm
