Newcastle Thunder will take to the field for the first time in 2020 on Saturday, as Whitehaven visit Kingston Pearl Stadium for the first of two pre-season friendlies at home KO 3pm

Giving fans their first opportunity to see this year’s squad in action, the match up with the newly promoted Cumbrians should provide an entertains afternoon of rugby league.

Ticket sales – Tickets can be booked in advance or on the day, with adults priced at £10, concessions at £8 and Under 16s at £3.

Pre-Match curtain raiser: Juniors from Gateshead Storm and Kells ARLFC will meet on the main pitch with KO at 13:00 for their own friendly fixture.

Admission is included for all Thunder v Whitehaven ticket holders and season ticket members.

Gates opening & entry – Turnstiles to gain entry to Kingston Park Stadium will be open from 13:00. Supporters wishing to watch the pre-match curtain raiser should enter via the Tap & Tackle.

Supporter Accommodation – Spectators will watch the match from the East stand of the ground. Reserved seating is in place in southern and central blocks of the East Stand, with unreserved seating available in the northern block.

Please follow directions from the Stewarding team when taking your seats. Standing tickets will also be situated along the east perimeter of the pitch side.

Ground entry – Entry to the stadium will be via East Stand turnstiles.

Parking – The Kingston Park car park will be open for this fixture, with spaces available for over 400 vehicles on a first come first served basis.

On site car parking is free for this fixture.

Club Shops – Located on the ground floor of the East Stand, the club shops will be open from 10:00 and is already stocked with some great items from Thunder’s superb 2020 Macron range including the brand new home and away jerseys.

Bars & Food – The East Stand Tap & Tackle bar will be open from 09:00 serving a wide range of food and drinks.

Post Match – The East Stand will be the focus of events after the match, with the venue open until 10pm
