Matchday Information – Qualification Final

Newcastle Thunder will enter the first round of the Betfred League One playoffs this Sunday when they host Doncaster RLFC at Kingston Park, 2:30pm kick-off.

Scotland’s U16 side will also take on Ireland U16’s as an entertaining curtain-raiser, 12:30pm kick-off.

After a dramatic encounter in Doncaster’s visit in round one, Thunder will be looking for alternate ending in which they earn a win that will send them into the next round.

Labelled as the qualifying final, the winner of this fixture will make the travel down to Vestacare Stadium to face Oldham with the loser facing the winner of Hunslet v Workington at home.

Ticket sales – Advanced ticket sales are available now, with adult tickets priced from £10, concessions from £8 and Under 16s priced from £5. The ticket price will increase on match-day so make sure you buy yours early!

Gates opening & entry – Turnstiles to gain entry to Kingston Park Stadium will be open from 13:15. Entry to the stadium will be via East Stand turnstiles.

Supporter Accommodation – Spectators will watch the match from the East side of the ground. Please sit in the seat for which your ticket is valid for. Please follow directions from the Stewarding team when taking your seats.

Standing tickets will also be situated along the east perimeter of the pitchside.

Parking – The Kingston Park car park will be open for this fixture, with spaces available for over 400 vehicles on a first-come, first-served basis.

For the playoffs, all parking is free of charge.

Club Shop – Located on the ground floor of the East Stand, the club shops will be open from 10:00 and is fully stocked with Thunder’s 2019 ISC range.

Bars & Food – The East Stand Tap & Tackle bar will be open from 09:00 serving a wide range of food and drinks.

Post Match – The East Stand will be the focus of events after the match, with the venue open until 10 pm
