Matchday Information – Playoff Semi Final

Newcastle Thunder head into knockout rugby as they face Workington Town in the playoffs this Sunday at Kingston Park, 4pm kick-off.

After falling to defeat in Doncaster’s visit in the qualifying final last week, Thunder will be looking to bounce back with a better performance and an alternate ending.

Labelled as the preliminary final, the winner of this fixture will face the loser of the other semi-final, Oldham or Doncaster, while the loser gets falls out of promotion running.

In what looks to be one of our most competitive fixtures of the season, make sure to read all the important match day information make the most of your day.

Ticket sales – Advanced ticket sales are available now, with adult tickets priced from £10, concessions from £8 and Under 16s priced from £5. The ticket price will increase on match-day so make sure you buy yours early!

Gates opening & entry – Turnstiles to gain entry to Kingston Park Stadium will be open from 13:15. Entry to the stadium will be via East Stand turnstiles.

Supporter Accommodation – Spectators will watch the match from the East side of the ground. Please sit in the seat for which your ticket is valid for. Please follow directions from the Stewarding team when taking your seats.

Standing tickets will also be situated along the east perimeter of the pitchside.

Parking – The Kingston Park car park will be open for this fixture, with spaces available for over 400 vehicles on a first-come, first-served basis.

For the playoffs, all parking is free of charge.

Club Shop – Located on the ground floor of the East Stand, the club shops will be open from 10:00 and is fully stocked with Thunder’s 2019 ISC range.

Bars & Food – The East Stand Tap & Tackle bar will be open from 09:00 serving a wide range of food and drinks.

Post Match – The East Stand will be the focus of events after the match, with the venue open until 10 pm
