THUNDER COMMUNITY LAUNCH GIRLS FUTURES PROGRAMME

New sessions announced for girls in years 7 - 9

The Newcastle Rugby Foundation’s programme of delivery through Thunder Community continues to expand this summer, as a fantastic new girls’ rugby league programme is launched.

Inspired by this autumn’s Rugby League World Cup, the new Futures Programme will provide opportunities for girls to get involved with the sport and accelerate the growth of the women’s game.

Taking place at Kingston Park Stadium, the sessions will be held every Wednesday up to and including August 10 from 18:00-19:30.

Open to girls in years 7-9, this programme offers great playing opportunities for participants with internal games, matches and festivals planned.
