In May 2021 a new safeguarding policy and procedures were introduced that heightened the levels of safeguarding expertise and improved processes for everyone associated with Newcastle Thunder. The documents reinforce Thunder’s commitment to the RFL Safeguarding Policy and recognises the recommendations within the 2018 Government guidance: Working Together To Safeguard Children.
