WHAT'S ON: Newcastle Thunder v Halifax Panthers

Newcastle Thunder host Halifax Panthers as the Betfred Championship returns to Kingston Park.
Kicking off at 2pm on Sunday, May 7, here is everything you need to know ahead of the fixture.
TICKETS
Tickets are still available to purchase for the Betfred Championship fixture and are available from £10 for adults and £3 for under-16s. You can book yours HERE.
Newcastle Thunder season tickets will also be available to purchase from our ticket office and club shop. Although we have already had a number of fixtures at home this season there is still great value with prices from just £99 for adults and just £10 for under-16s. Secure yours today by clicking HERE.
The ticket office will be open from 11pm on match day.
MATCH-DAY TRAVEL
Stadium parking for this fixture is FREE for all supporters. It will be available on a first come-first served basis.
Stadium parking is FREE for the entire 2023 season.
Stagecoach will be running their usual X47 bus service, which picks up and drops off directly outside Kingston Park Stadium. Single tickets are available from £2 for adults and 60p for under-16s. The stadium is also served by Kingston Park and Bank Foot Metro stations, both of which are a five-minute walk away. Both stations are on the Airport branch of the Tyne and Wear Metro with trains running every 15 minutes. Find out more HERE.
RETAIL
The club shop and ticket office based in the East Stand will be open from 12pm until kick-off and will close at 4:30pm.

HOSPITALITY
There is no match-day hospitality at our fixture against Halifax Panthers.
FOOD & DRINK
The Tap & Tackle will be serving an array of snacks, food, and drinks for supporters to enjoy.
PRE-MATCH
Turnstiles will open for supporters at 12.30pm. Entry to the stadium bowl can be made through the South East turnstiles.
New to this season, the Stakeford Tyre Challenge returns and will take place on the pitch prior to kick-off. If you fancy the chance to win some great prizes, make sure you enter via our social media.
A Thunder farewell. Ahead of Sunday’s kick-off supporters will have the chance to show their appreciation for Rhys Clarke who recently announced his retirement from the game. Rhys will make his way onto the pitch to allow supporters and the club to show our thanks to the Thunder legend so make sure you’re down at Kingston Park to give Rhys the send off he deserves.
In celebration of the King’s Coronation, the English National Anthem ‘God Save The King’ will be played ahead of kick-off.
KICK-OFF
The club’s new mascot Thunderbolt will take to the field to introduce your Newcastle Thunder side back to Kingston Park moments before kick-off.
Newcastle Thunder takes on Halifax Panthers in the Betfred Championship with kick-off at 2pm.
HALF-TIME
The Thunderbolt challenge will be taking place at half-time. A lucky individual picked from the crowd will go head-to-head with a Thunder player in a virtual race across the pitch.
POST-MATCH ACTIVITIES
The East Stand Tap & Tackle will remain open to the public, following the final whistle.
Newcastle Thunder U18s take to the pitch following the conclusion of the First Team fixture. They host St. Helens U18s at 4:30pm. Entry is FREE for all season ticket holders and anyone who has purchased a match ticket for #NCLvFAX. Otherwise, entry is £5 (cash only) on the door.
Live football will be also streamed on the screens in the Tap & Tackle as Newcastle United take on Arsenal in the Premier League at 4:30pm.
