NEWCASTLE THUNDER v HALIFAX PANTHERS - MATCH DAY INFO

CODE OF CONDUCT – KEEPING EVERYONE SAFE AT KINGSTON PARK
Newcastle Rugby looks forward to welcoming you back to Kingston Park. In line with Government guidance on the admission of supporters to sports stadia, this Code of Conduct acts to guide and advise ticket holders of the protocols in place on match-day.
The Club has put in place a range of processes to ensure the safety of all supporters at our matches, however it is vitally important that all attendees play their part in making each event safe and enjoyable and to do so we need your continued support and cooperation. Supporters are therefore kindly reminded of the requirement to adhere to this Code of Conduct and follow all safety requirements at all times, in order to assist Club staff and stewards, and to help protect you and your fellow supporters.
- Despite the efforts being made by the club to ensure the safety of everyone attending Kingston Park Stadium, entry is at each individual person’s own risk.
- Please do not attend the stadium if you, or a member of your household is showing any symptoms of Covid-19. This is also the case if you have been in contact with anyone showing symptoms.
- Spectators should be advised to undertake their own health risk assessment, considering if travelling to, and attending, such an event is appropriate.
- Supporters are reminded if purchasing tickets on behalf of others, they are required to provide names and contact details for each individual ticket holder and tickets must not be passed on to anyone else. This is in order to comply with the UK Government’s Track and Trace requirements.
- Supporters must wear a face covering unless they have a valid exemption or are under the age of 11. This can be removed when eating or drinking. This is critical in supporting the social distancing measures we are putting in place. If you are exempt from wearing a covering (as per UK Government guidelines), please be tolerant in explaining this to stewards or other supporters who may ask you to wear one. You may consider bringing an exception card with you.
- Supporters must not come to Kingston Park Stadium if they cannot satisfy all the requirements of the health declaration at the time of entering the ballot or purchasing tickets, or before attending the game. In the event you develop COVID-19 symptoms whilst at the Stadium, please notify the nearest member of Club staff immediately.
- If applicable, please follow government guidance on travel. This includes the use of public transport. Plan your journey in advance and arrive at the stadium in line with the arrival time provided to you on your ticket.
- Parking is limited, please do not attend with your car unless you have pre-booked.
- Be aware that you have an allocated entrance for your part of the stadium in order to avoid the crossing of people and build-up of queues. You cannot enter the stadium other than through your allocated entry point and movement between stands is not permitted. Your ticket will show a time slot to aim to arrive at the stadium in order to help to appropriately manage the numbers of fans entering the Stadium at any one time. Please help us by keeping to these times as much as possible.
- You are asked to comply with the direction of all stewards, the PA announcements, and all signage on the approach to, and inside the ground. All measures are in place to keep you, your fellow supporters and our staff safe.
- Please observe social distancing with all others not in your social bubble when approaching, entering, leaving and at all other times whilst inside the ground.
- Maintain good hand hygiene at all times around the stadium – use the sanitiser dispensers provided and avoid touching your face or holding handles and railings whenever possible.
- Please avoid bringing any bags into the stadium to prevent slowing the entrance to Kingston Park Stadium. Small handbags are permitted.
- Once your ticket has been scanned you are advised to go straight to your seat. Concourses may be shut to prevent congestion but kiosks and facilities will be available for food and drink outside and will be signposted.
- Please only leave your seat to attend concessions, to use the toilet or at the end of the game. If leaving your seat, please pass with your back to other supporters in your row and be considerate of others using the stairs or corridors.
- When using toilet facilities, please follow all guidance, be patient and considerate towards other users, and wait your turn to avoid toilet areas becoming crowded. Where possible, try to avoid peak times (such as half-time and the end of the game).
- If you are accompanying a child, please remember that you are responsible for their behaviour and ensuring that they comply with all guidance, including social distancing, at all times.
- Do not approach any of our players or coaching staff at any time. They will not be able to sign autographs or pose for photographs at this time.
- At the end of the match please remain seated or standing until stewards signal for you to leave, this is necessary to enable a safe exit from the stadium.
- Please download the NHS track and trace ap and use the QR code on your ticket / displayed around the ground on arrival. This is a legal requirement for all adults.
- For ease and a safer environment most payments will be cashless at the Stadium.
- Standing areas will be stewarded and a system in place to ensure social distancing in allocated areas. You must not stand at the front of any of the stands.
- Please be aware that shouting or singing loudly can produce 20-times the mass of aerosol than speaking at a normal level of loudness. We politely request that you be mindful of this whilst at Kingston Park.
- Entry to the stadium is conditional upon acceptance of these additional measures and the Club reserves the right to eject and ban any supporter that fails to comply with this Code of Conduct. The Club reminds all fans that stadium capacities may ultimately be negatively impacted as a result of any safety issues.
