Hull FC youngster Barron links up with Thunder squad

Winger Harvey Barron has joined up with the Newcastle Thunder squad as they prepare for Round 14 of the Betfred Championship.

With a visit to Kingston Park for third place Batley Bulldogs on the agenda this weekend, Thunder have called up the services of Hull FC winger Barron as part of the dual registration agreement, announced in January.

The 20-year-old has been training with the Thunder first team this week and will be available for selection for Sunday’s Betfred Championship fixture.

Barron has made four appearances for Hull FC. His Super League debut came against Toulouse Olympique XIII in July last year, where he also crossed for a try.

In those four appearances for his parent club, Barron has score three tries and also boast some Championship experience having featured for Whitehaven at the start of the 2022 campaign.

Tickets for Sunday’s Betfred Championship clash against Batley Bulldogs are on sale now and can be purchased HERE.

Prices are available from £10 for adults and £3 for under-16s. Concessionary pricing is £8 and young adults and students can get tickets from just £5.
