Okoro joins Bradford Bulls

Prop forward and loanee Daniel Okoro has joined fellow Championship side Bradford Bulls for the rest of the 2023 season.

Okoro had initially signed for Thunder on loan from Hull KR at the start of the 2023 season and went on to make seven appearances in the Rhubarb and Custard.

The Nigerian international had been sidelined for the majority of the start of the season after suffering an injury but was part of the squad that was victorious against Keighley Cougars last month.

Speaking on his departure, Newcastle Thunder head coach Chris Thorman said: “On behalf of all at Newcastle Thunder we’d like to thank Dan for his efforts during his time here.

“The move has come about due to limited playing opportunities and we'd like to pass on our best wishes to him on the next chapter of his career.”
