Thunder squad confirmed for Swinton visit

Newcastle Thunder head coach Chris Thorman has today named his 21-man squad to take on Swinton Lions at Kingston Park in Round 20 of the Betfred Championship.
The fixture is set for a 3pm kick-off on Sunday, July 30.
Thunder see an influx of changes to the squad that fell to a defeat last time out on the road at Halifax.
Full-back Jack Johnson and half-back Nikau Williams are both back in contention having been sidelined with injuries.
New signing Paddy Burns could once again make his Thunder debut after being named in the squad, which also sees the return of Jake Lightowler into the mix.
Tyler Walton and Evan Lawther both miss out after picking up knocks in recent weeks and dual reg signing Nick Staveley will not feature after being made unavailable by his parent club Hull FC.
Jay Chapelhow is included once more after recently being named in the Betfred Championship team of the month and the fixture could also see a huge career milestone for Evan Simons.
Should the hooker feature on Sunday, it will mark his 150th appearance in Thunder colours.
