Thunder squad confirmed for Toulouse visit

Newcastle Thunder head coach Chris Thorman has named his 21-man squad Saturdays clash against Toulouse Olympique XIII.

The squad sees only one change from the side lost to York Knights last time out.

New Reserves signing Mike Ogunwole is back in the mix and could make his debut stepping up in replacement of university signing Evan Lawther.

Ogunwole who joined the club in recent weeks, previously played in the Army rugby league set-up.

Mitch Clark is included following his 50th appearance for the club last time out and Gideon Boafo retains his place after scoring an excellent try of the season contender against York Knights.

Super League loanees Connor Moore and Denive Balmforth are both named following impressive standout performances last week and both Jack Miller and Ted Chapelhow could return to action after struggling with injuries in recent weeks.
