Kicking off the day at 1:00 PM, the York Valkyrie, reigning Super League Champions, will take on the Wigan Warriors, the current Challenge Cup holders, in a blockbuster Round 11 showdown. Both clubs will proudly bring their respective silverware to the North East, giving fans a unique opportunity to witness two of the game’s most successful women’s teams up close.
In a show of support for growing the women’s game in new regions, York RLFC will be running a free fan bus from York to Newcastle, making it easy for supporters to be part of this historic moment.
The action continues at 4:00 PM, as Newcastle Thunder host Whitehaven RLFC in their final home game of the Betfred League One season. This crucial Round 20 clash promises high intensity and emotion as Thunder look to close their home campaign on a high.
