Ferreira signs for Thunder

Newcastle Thunder are delighted to announce the signing of Jude Ferreira, who joins the club ahead of the upcoming Betfred Championship campaign. 

Ferreira arrives at Thunder as an exciting addition to the 2026 squad, bringing power and energy to Thunder's edge as the club continues its preparations for the new season.

Thunder head coach Graham Steadman welcomed the signing “Jude has got the right mindset to fit into our 2026 squad and offers some strike from the outside backs. Once fully recovered from injury, we’re confident he’ll add real competition and quality to our squad, and I am looking forward to working with him.”
