Gameday Guide - North Wales Crusaders

This weekend sees all Newcastle Thunder matchday activities taking place on the main stand side of the pitch, (including car parking) due to the Valentine’s fair at Blaydon Rugby Club.

Please follow the instructions of stewards on arrival.

Tickets 

Supporters are advised to buy tickets in advance, which are available on our website here

Please make sure you have your tickets ready to be scanned on arrival. This will help speed up entry into the ground. You can also purchase tickets by scanning the QR code which will be available as you enter the ground, doing so will help speed your entry into the ground.

Parking

Parking is free at Blaydon Rugby Club - please follow the advice of stewards on arrival and park on the hard standing area round the back of the main stand.

Fan Village

The Thunder fan village is located next to the main stand and includes a range of food and drink options including alcoholic drinks. This is the perfect place to mingle with fellow fans before and after the game. Toilets are available in the fan village.

The Thunder marquee is open for those wishing to experience hospitality. Hospitality is available to buy through the ticketing link and includes a hog roast and a private bar. If you wish to upgrade to the marquee on arrival then you can pay £10 to upgrade, please note this doesn’t include food if ordered on the day.

Getting to the game 

There’s a range of ways to get to the game, which you can find on our website here.

If arriving into Newcastle Central Station, the x45 bus takes you to Blaydon Rugby Club.

Matchday Timings

13:00: gates open

14:30: player warm ups

15:00: kick off

15:40: half time

15:55: second half kick off

16:35: full time

16:35: post-match presentation in the fan village and marquee with both teams
