NEWCASTLE THUNDER SQUAD NAMED FOR OLDHAM

Newcastle Thunder have made just one change to their 21-man squad for Sunday’s visit of Oldham RLFC, with home-grown academy centre Isaac Nokes returning to the extended squad for this weekend.

Nokes, who made his debut earlier in the season against Sheffield Eagles, has been featuring for the club’s U19s in recent weeks and continues his development as one of the clubs exciting hot young talents .

On-loan centre Sam Halsall also remains as part of the 21-man list with his loan extended from its initial two-week spell for another match.

The Wigan youngster was a potent threat during last weekend’s 30-36 win over Swinton and offers further options to Thunder’s coaching panel in the back line.

Tickets for Sunday’s match remain on sale via the club’s online box office, priced at £20 for adults, £15 for concessions and £5 for Under 16s.

With track and trace requirements still needed to be met in order to welcome spectators to Kingston Park Stadium, all tickets must be bought in advance, with sales closing at midnight on Saturday (June 19)
