Preliminary Final tickets now on sale

There will be a double dose of Doncaster on offer at Kingston Park this Sunday as Newcastle Thunder take on Doncaster RLFC in the Betfred League 1 playoffs Preliminary Final ahead of Newcastle Falcons taking on Doncaster Knights in the RFU Championship Cup.

Thunder have set up a fourth meeting of the season with Richard Horne’s side after taking 38-18 win over Workington Town in the semi-finals and will be targeting revenge as the look to book their place in the promotion playoff final against Oldham.

With the match taking place as part of Newcastle Falcons first home game of the new rugby union season, the club has announced some amendments to the ticketing arrangements that have applied for the last two fixtures that will allow fans of both clubs to enjoy each of the day’s games.

For the Preliminary Final, season ticket holders are again able to purchase tickets at £8 for adults and concessions and £3 for under 16s and can request a reserved seat in the centre section of the East Stand.

All other advanced purchase tickets will be priced at £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and £5 for Under 16s, with these granting general admission access to the East side of Kingston Park Stadium.

These will allow supporters to stand or access the unreserved seating sections of the East Stand on a first-come-first-served basis.

Following the completion of Thunder’s playoff match, ticket holders are welcome to enjoy the Falcons first home game of 2019/20 by making their way around to the North Stand terrace at the scoreboard end of the ground.
