SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT- Workington Town 8/3/2020

Matty Wright is included in the 21-man-squad for Sunday’s visit of Workington Town as Simon Finnigan’s side return to home turf for the first time since January.

Wright has returned to the Thunder ranks for the 2020 season after a thrilling seven game cameo last season, when the Samoan international lit up League 1 .

He was a particular thorn against Sunday’s opposition at Kingston Park last season, contributing 14 of his sides 48 points that day.

There is a welcome inclusion in the squad for Rhys Clarke who returns from a fractured thumb sustained against Whitehaven in pre-season, while the roster includes six current internationals.

With more than 600 tickets already sold for Sunday’s match, it promises be to be an exciting afternoon with advanced tickets able to be purchased now by clicking here, calling 0871 2266060 or by visiting the Kingston Park Stadium box office.

Early purchase allows adult and concession fans to save up to £5 on full matchday prices, while under 16s are just £3 right up until kick off.
