A vastly experienced player, Quentin Laulu-Togaga’e joined Newcastle Thunder in July 2019 from Halifax RLFC.

“QLT” as he is affectionately known brings a wealth of experience to Kingston Park gained from a career that currently extends to approaching 300 games played.

Acquired across Super League, Championship and League 1, QLT first began to attract attention whilst with Sheffield Eagles, with whom he secured back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013, before moving to North America to join the Toronto Wolfpack in 2017.

Shining for the Trans-Atlantic outfit throughout his 18-months with the club, he switched back to UK shores with Halifax for before making his Super League debut with Castleford Tigers.

A prolific try-scorer, the Samoan international has over 225 to his name from stints with five different clubs and from the international stage

In his ninth professional season in the UK leagues in 2019, QLT carries glowing recommendations from clubs he has been a part of, with his move to Newcastle reuniting him with his Toronto assistant coach Simon Finnigan.
