Our handy guide to making the most of your match day this weekend
Betfred Championship rugby league action returns to Kingston Park Stadium for the final time in 2022 as York City Knights are the visitors to Kingston Park Stadium in round 27
It’s a double -header game day with the club’s Reserves side in action against Bradford Bulls in a 3pm kick-off, before the first team game gets underway at 7pm
It promises to be an entertaining afternoon of live sport and with fans accommodated in the East Stand for this weekend’s game, this is our handy guide to making sure you make the most of your day.

Team – Thunder have named a 20-man squad ahead of Saturday’s game showing two changes from the roster announced ahead of last week’s game versus Barrow Raiders. Find out who is in and out here
Match tickets – Tickets for Saturday’s game are available to book now either in person at the Kingston Park Stadium box office, online by clicking here or by calling 0191 214 5588 (opt 1)
All tickets are priced at £15 for adults, £10 for concessions, £8 for young adults and £3 for juniors for this fixture up until turnstiles open on Saturday.
Match-day ticket purchases – Tickets will be available to purchase on arrival at the stadium on Saturday from 12:00 from the stadium box office located in the East Stand.
Full match day pricing will be in effect with adults priced at £20, concessions £15, YAS (16-24-year-olds) £10 and Under 16s £5
PLEASE NOTE Card payments only for ticket purchases made at the ground.
Stadium access – Entry to the stadium will be via the main doors of the East Stand. The Tap and Tackle will open to spectators from 12:00 with seats and terrace positions available to access from 14:30.
Getting Here - Stadium car parking for Saturday’s match will be available on the day free of charge.
Kingston Park Stadium is well served by local public transport services, with Stagecoach’s X47 service from Newcastle city centre stopping opposite the ground on Windsor Way and Tyne & Wear Metro services on the airport line calling at Kingston Park and Bank Foot (approx. 7mins walk away).
Spectator Accommodation: For Saturday’s games, supporters will watch from the East Stand side of the ground. Seats and standing are available on a first come first served basis.
Tap & Tackle – The Tap & Tackle will be the service point for all refreshments during Saturday’s game.
Open from Noon until late on Saturdays, the Tap & Tackle will also be the venue for this week’s Man of the Match presentation following the game.
Our bars will be using reusable stack cups on the day.

Merchandise – The Newcastle Thunder club shop will be open this Saturday and will be where supporters will be able to purchase the club’s new 2022 replica kits and items from our 2022 leisure range by Macron.
